160g of wax. 20+ hours burn
Sitting around the campfire with loved ones, telling stories of the past as the burning wood crackles and embers float up to the stars.
Barrgana time is our Bardi cold season, where the winds blow in from the southeast during June and July. Barrgana is when wongai trees (wattle trees) start to flower and the fish are fat to eat.
This scent is inspired by family traditions of sitting around the smoky fire sharing stories together. This warm and comforting scent brings memories of family and contains fragrance notes of wood smoke, lemon myrtle, amber, clove bud and ginger.

Candle Care and Safety
Each Olive & Bean candle is hand-poured with as much care possible with every effort made to ensure consistency.
Always trim your wick to 5mm before lighting your candle to ensure you are receiving the maximum burning time.
When burning your candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edges of your vessel before extinguishing. This will create a candle ‘memory’ and clean and even burn, preventing tunnelling in your candle.
Never leave your candle burning longer than 4hrs at a time.
Discontinue use when the wax reaches 1.5cm from the bottom of the wick.
About Olive & Bean
Inspired by Country, Indigenous descendants of the Bardi people from the north of Broome, Sabrina and her daughter Lily are the founders of Olive & Bean, making beautiful Aboriginal candles.
What started out as a creative healing outlet, has now blossomed into a small family business making beautiful biodegradable natural coconut and soy wax candles.
They as a family are conscious of the impact they place on Country and have chosen to have a focus around caring for Country.
